POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -

Three burglars used a sledgehammer to break in to a Pompano Beach warehouse to steal one pair of work boots, but they left them near the building.

The burglary happened at Coastal Boots, 2821 Centerport Circle, on June 1, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

The burglars broke part of the wall, disabled the alarm, then grabbed one pair of $200 work boots.

Surveillance video showed two women and a man running around the building with the shoe box and sledge hammer, which were found nearby. The work boots were still inside the box.

Video also showed a white sedan dropping the burglars off.
