POMPANO BEACH, Fla - Family and friends held a candlelight vigil to mark the hour when Broward Sheriff's Office Sgt. Chris Reyka was shot to death in the parking lot of a Pompano Beach Walgreens.
Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the shooting.
After midnight, the Reyka family and the Memorial Foundation for Reyka led a candlelight vigil at the same Walgreens were the sergeant was gunned down on Aug. 10, 2007.
The gunman has not been caught.
