Car crashes through Food Store in Pembroke Pines

No injuries reported

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – The driver of a Nissan Altima crashed her car into the Food Store in Pembroke Pines on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at 9051 Pembroke Road about 9:50 a.m.

Maselyn Logan mistakenly hit the accelerator while parking and drove through the front door, police said. Sk Ali, the owner, said he dove out of the way.

"I just kept shouting, 'Turn off the engine! Turn off the engine!'" he said.

"I must be killing your business. He said it is fine, it was an accident," added Logan, 32.

No injuries were reported. Police won't file charges, they said.
