FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson issued a plea of not guilty to a domestic battery charge.
Johnson was not in court on Thursday morning for his arraignment but a written plea of not guilty was submitted.
On Wednesday, the Broward State Attorney's Office filed one count of misdemeanor domestic battery against Johnson.
Johnson faces one year in jail if he's convicted.
