Child, 3, in critical condition after ejected from car

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A 3-year-old child was ejected from a car Saturday night after two vehicles crashed at NW Ninth Avenue and Broward Boulevard.

Officials said the child was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where the child is listed in critical but stable condition.

All westbound lanes of Broward Boulevard were closed while police investigated.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
