Child actress, Bailee Madison, raises money for charity

Bailee Madison appears at Young At Art for charity

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Bailee Madison, star of ABC'S Once Upon A Time, is in South Florida this weekend to raise money for cancer research.

The 13-year-old actress, who is originally from Fort Lauderdale, will be at The Young At Art Museum in Davie between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to host Alex's Lemonade Stand. All proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer for which Bailee is the National Youth Spokesperson.

The Foundation is named after Alexandra "Alex" Scott who died from cancer at the age of 8. When she was just 4-years-old, Alex began holding lemonade stands to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer.

On Saturday, museum-goers will also have the chance to see a theater-sized screening of the animated short Monica, for which Bailee provides the voice of the title character.

In addition to portraying Young Snow White on Once Upon A Time, Bailee was most recently seen on the big screen in FOX's Parental Guidance, starring as Harper, the granddaughter of Billy Crystal and Bette Midler, and daughter of Marisa Tomei. The family film was recently released on Blu-Ray & DVD on March 26.
