Coast Guard continues search for missing swimmer off Juno Beach

Witnesses: Man swept underwater by rip current

MIAMI - The U.S. Coast Guard is still searching for a missing swimming off Juno Beach.

Yusnjear Sonora, 27, was reported missing Sunday by a friend who said Sonora was struggling in the water. He was last seen swimming north of the Juno Beach pier.

Witnesses told Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies that the swimmer was caught in a rip current, went underwater and disappeared.

PBSO marine units and Juno Beach police were assisting the Coast Guard with the search.
