MIAMI – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than four ounces of cocaine that was hidden in spray canisters at Miami International Airport last month.
Authorities said the drugs were found in a shipment that arrived from Uruguay on June 24.
CBP officers intercepted the package that was labeled "ornaments and rosary" after an X-ray examination of the box revealed anomalies.

Officers inspected the items and found a white powdery substance inside the canisters that tested positive for cocaine.
"The CBP officers working at our courier facilities are extremely skillful in detecting anomalies and we are proud of their hard work every day to fulfill the CBP mission," said Miami International Airport Port Director Christopher Maston.
All packages that originate in foreign countries and are sent to the U.S. are subject to inspection by CBP officers.
