MIAMI – A Miami contractor hit a water main Tuesday afternoon while working in the area of Southwest 107th Avenue and South Dixie Highway in Cutler Bay.
City officials said the worker punctured a 10-inch water main, causing flooding in the area.

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is repairing the pipe.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area until repairs are complete.
