MIAMI - Police are hoping surveillance video can help track down the shooters who killed 10-year-old Aaron Vu and injured his father during a nail salon robbery in Miami-Dade.
Police said the shooting took place at Nail Hong-Kong located at 14832 Northwest 7th Avenue in Miami late Friday.
On Saturday police passed out flyers to nearby businesses and released surveillance video.
According to investigators, two armed masked suspects entered the nail salon and shots were fired hitting Aaron and his father.
Authorities said the suspects took off in an unknown direction.
Both victims were taken to the hospital after they were both struck. Police said the child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are offering a $3,000 dollar reward for information leading to their arrest.
