Edwards was the jewelry manager at the JCPenney store on North Congress Avenue.

The store manager told police that Williams took jewelry from the store and pawned it so she could recover a repossessed car.

During the investigation, police said another worker at the store said Edwards had told her she pawned the jewelry.

Investigators then questioned Edwards and said she confessed to stealing the items, then selling them at the pawn shop.

Detectives said they found the stolen jewelry at a local pawn shop.

Edwards, who lives in Lantana, was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property, fraud, and retail theft.

She posted $13,000 bond and was released from the Palm Beach County Jail.
