Coral Springs couple accused of burglarizing homes via doggie door

Police believe Nanley Ramirez, Edwin Nodarse burglarized at least 7 homes

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A boyfriend and girlfriend are accused of burglarizing at least seven homes by getting inside through doggie doors.

Nanley Ramirez, 23, and Edwin Nodarse, 32, of Coral Springs, were arrested after Broward Sheriff's Office burglary detectives and Coral Springs police caught them in the act, authorities said.

Authorities received a tip about the couple and began conducting surveillance.

After obtaining a warrant to search the couple's home, authorities found 26 jewelry boxes, nine laptops, tablets, cellphones and more. Authorities said they also found pawn slips and four handguns.

Ramirez and Nodarse face charges of burglary and possession of stolen property.

The stolen items were on display Tuesday at the Coral Springs Police Department.
