KEY LARGO, Fla. – Detectives are trying to identify a couple who robbed a Key Largo convenience store Thursday night.
The robbery occurred at a Tom Thumb near mile marker 102.6 on U.S. Highway 1.

Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said the man couple entered the store shortly before 8 p.m., and the man asked for two cartons of cigarettes.
After the clerk asked to see the man's identification, the couple pulled out guns.
Herrin said the man threw a backpack at the clerk's feet and demanded him to put all the money from the cash register into the backpack.
The couple got away with the backpack full of cash and two cartons of cigarettes.
