Cows roam golf course as WGC-Cadillac Championship goes on

DORAL, Fla. – Two cows made their way onto a golf course at Doral near the WGC-Cadillac Championship on Friday morning.

While golfers participated in the PGA tournament at the Blue Monster, the two cows grazed and inspected the course near Northwest 52nd Street and 107th Avenue.

The area where the cows were found isn't used during the tournament. Police officers were keeping them quarantined there.

"So I thought you were out here because we're famous golfers. This is about the beef, not us?" said one man. "We came down from Minnesota and all we got is bull here."

It's unclear who owns the cows.

Local 10's Sasha Andrade reported a rancher tried bribing the cows with some bread but failed.

Authorities have since contacted the Florida Department of Agriculture.
