Crash backs up traffic in Hallandale Beach, near I-95

Three cars involved in collision near South Park Road

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A three-car crash caused traffic delays in Hallandale Beach Wednesday morning.

The westbound lanes of Hallandale Beach Boulevard near South Park Road were affected, which is just west of the exit from I-95.

Accodring to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the incident involved two cars, one speeding as it traveling west bound, the other traveling east bound while making a turn.

The cars collided. One person was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

The roadway reopened around 8:15 a.m.

A nearby collision involving a TriRail train and a Coca-Cola truck is also adding to the delays.

No one on the train was hurt. It is unclear if anyone in the crash involving three cars was injured.
