FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Florida Department of Transportation crews will begin repainting the pavement markings on A1A between NE 14th Court and NE 17th Court on Thursday evening.
The work is expected to begin about 8 p.m. and end about 8 a.m. Friday. During that time, one or both lanes may be closed.

Those blocks of A1A have been restricted to one lane in each direction since the weekend. Extremely high tides eroded the beach and some of the roadway.
