Officials said about 85 customers were without water while the repair was underway.

Temporary repairs have been completed and water is back on, but city officials said a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued to those 85 customers.

It was originally thought repairs to the line would be completed by 9 p.m., but authorities said repairs to the line wouldn't be completed until later in the evening, as they were still waiting for a part.

As part Florida Department of Transportation's Alton Road Project, officials said new water mains and a new storm water drainage system will be installed, in addition to other street-scape improvements.

The leak caused traffic in the area to be affected.
