Man dies in road-rage stabbing on I-95 in Riviera Beach

FHP says Duvarn Frasier stabbed several times during fight

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. – A man who was stabbed Tuesday afternoon in a road-rage incident on Interstate 95 in Rivera Beach has died.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Duvarn Frasier, 26, of West Palm Beach, died Tuesday night at St. Mary's Medical Center.

According to the FHP, a witness called 911 about 3 p.m. after seeing three men fighting on the shoulder of I-95 near the Blue Heron Boulevard exit. Troopers said one of the men, later identified as Frasier, was stabbed several times.

Troopers arrived and broke up the fight. The other two men, identified as Mario Rene Briceno, 44, of Lake Worth, and Jose Rene Briceno Escobar, 49, of West Palm Beach, were detained for questioning and later released.

Troopers said a knife and a gun were recovered at the scene.

The FHP is investigating.
