COCONUT GROVE, Fla. – One person was taken to a hospital Wednesday afternoon after a shooting in Coconut Grove, authorities said.
The shooting was reported shortly before 4 p.m. in the area of William Avenue and Hibiscus Street, just two blocks from Frances S. Tucker Elementary School.

Miami Fire Rescue officials said one person was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
No other details were immediately released.
