BIG PINE KEY, Fla. – Two people were arrested Wednesday night after scores of drugs were found inside a Big Pine Key home, authorities said.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said detectives from the Special Investigations Unit, along with agents for the Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations, served a search warrant at a home on West Shore Drive.

Herrin said detectives found over four ounces of cocaine, 15 grams of crack cocaine, three grams of heroin, 60 grams of hashish, 55 grams of marijuana, over 20 Xanax pills and more than 200 other various pills.
Herrin said detectives also found multiple items of drug paraphernalia inside the home of Aaron Pannell, 52, and Tanya Rego, 29, along with $5,200 in possible drug proceeds.
Rego was arrested on charges of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession, and Pannell was arrested on charges of drug possession, possession with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Herrin said Pannell also had an active arrest warrant for selling cocaine.
Rego and Pannell were both taken to the Key West Jail.
