Antwine Reed, 35, was arrested Wednesday on armed robbery charges, as well as on a 2015 warrant for a burglary involving an assault and battery.

According to an arrest report, the first robbery was reported at 1:20 a.m. Oct. 23 in the area of Ninth Street and Lenox Avenue.

Police said a man and a woman were walking when a white Chrysler pulled up to them and two men got out of the car.

A woman who was walking ahead of the couple told police that she saw one of the men pull out a gun so she began to run.

Police said one of the robbers pointed a gun at the man's head and shoved him to the ground.

The other robber told the victims, "Give me your phone and everything you have," the report said.

Police said the woman handed over her phone and threw the rest of her belongings on the ground.

One of the men told her, "Don't you (expletive) look," as the men picked up all the property, the report said.

The robbers got back into the Chrysler, which was driven by Sneed, police said.

The second robbery was reported at 1:45 a.m. the same day in the 1300 block of 15th Terrace.

Police said the three men approached a woman who was walking in the area and ordered her at gunpoint to lie on the ground.

The men robbed the woman of her purse, which contained credit cards, cash and other items, police said.

A witness saw the robbery and an officer spotted the Chrysler on the Julia Tuttle Causeway.Ā

Police said Sneed, whom the officer saw through the driver's side window, initially pulled over but sped away as officers ordered all three men to get out of the car.

Authorities said the car had been rented by Sneed.

According to the report, Sneed confessed to being the getaway driver.

Anyone with information about the third man involved in the robberies is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
