North Miami Beach police say teens linked to several cases

Their identities have not been released because of their age.

Police said most of the 17 vehicles that were ransacked between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21 were parked near the Young Israel of Greater Miami synagogue at 990 NE 171st St.

Rabbi David Lehrfield told Local 10 News that many people parked their cars there the night of Aug. 19 and left them overnight during Sabbath.

"You feel violated. This happens to be a very fine neighborhood, and we hate to see it violated like this," Lehrfield said.

It's unclear whether anything was taken from inside the vehicles.
