3 shot, killed at northeast Miami-Dade warehouse

Brother says Norris Cole caught in crossfire of argument between 2 men

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. ā€“ Police are investigating after three men were found shot to death at a northeast Miami-Dade County warehouse.

Miami-Dade police Detective MarjorieĀ EloiĀ said several 911 calls were made after shots were fired at 18450 NE Second Ave. shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived, they found the three victims dead inside the warehouse.

Crime scene investigators were at the scene Thursday morning to remove the bodies.

Family members at the scene identified one of the victims as warehouse owner Norris Cole. The 60-year-old's brother said Cole, who is no relation to the former Miami Heat player of the same name, was caught in the crossfire of a shooting that stemmed from an argument between the two other men.

Anima Bona fought back tears as she described her friend.

"He was honest. He was helpful," she said. "He gave and gave and gave and gave."

Espe Pierre, 38, and Evans Jean, 31, were identified as the other victims.

Police are searching for a newer-model, silver BMW 5 Series with four doors. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
