Police said the first thief entered the store and posed as a customer.

While wielding a gun, he approached the store clerk and demanded money from the cash register, police said.

The thief and two accomplices then attempted to break into a glass-enclosed office, but were unsuccessful, police said.

They then created a hole by kicking the wall beneath the counter, police said.  One of the thieves crawled through the hole and made his way into the office.

Once in the office, the thieves stole the clerk's cellphone and the money from inside the cash register.

They fled the store, and the clerk escaped through a rear door.

Police are searching for three thieves.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
