Police say suspects fled, caught in Miramar

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. ā€“ Five teenagers are in custody after an armed carjacking in Pembroke Pines, police said.

Pembroke Pines police said a woman was carjacked at gunpoint Monday night on Southwest 15th Street.

Police said three armed teenagers drove away in her gray Honda Civic.

A detective spotted the stolen car Thursday morning near Palm Avenue and Pines Boulevard. Police said the suspects fled, finally stopping in the 2000 block of Southwest 99th Terrace in Miramar.

All five juveniles were taken into custody.
