BSO spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion said Rivers shot Rodriguez after an altercation at a bus stop in the 5400 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard.

Concepcion said although the shooter got away on a bicycle, forensic evidence left at the scene led detectives to Rivers. She said Rivers isn't cooperating with investigators, so a motive for the shooting remains unclear.

Anyone who may have witnessed the shooting is asked to contact the BSO at 954-321-4210 or call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
