BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – A man suspected of breaking into a South Florida home and molesting a 15-year-old girl in 2015 has been arrested.
Boynton Beach police said DNA evidence linked Miguel Guzman to the crime.

Guzman, 41, was taken into custody Tuesday by U.S. marshals, Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said.
According to a police report, Guzman molested the girl while she was alone in her Boynton Beach home in September 2015. Police said Guzman bound her arms and legs with cloth and threatened to kill her if she moved.
The girl told police that she believed she scratched her attacker as she was trying to fight him off her.
Police collected blood droplets from the girl's body and put them into evidence.
The DNA collected from the scene was later determined to match DNA from another crime scene being investigated by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office that led police to Guzman.
Police said Guzman denied breaking into any homes and claimed that he used to smoke marijuana with the girl's father when he was shown a picture of her, although he said he never met her.
Guzman was being held without bond at the main Palm Beach County jail on charges of armed burglary and lewd or lascivious battery.
