MIAMI – A federal jury on Wednesday convicted a former U.S. postal carrier of illegally dumping mail.
John Henry Caddle Jr., 58, of Hollywood, was found guilty of three counts of delaying and detaining mail.

Court records show that a witness saw Caddle dumping a garbage bag into a dumpster last August. When the witness recovered the garbage bag, it was found to contain deliverable mail.
Postal authorities found five additional garbage bags outside Caddle's home the next day that were full of deliverable mail.
Caddle faces a maximum of 15 years in prison when he is sentenced April 21.
