Hollywood police said Trabazzo drove his Chevrolet Camaro onto a sidewalk on North 66th Avenue and struck his girlfriend, who was walking to a nearby bus stop.

According to a police report, Trabazzo got into an argument with his girlfriend at his home, where he had been drinking and doing drugs all day. Police said the argument turned physical, and when his girlfriend tried to leave, Trabazzo blocked the front door with a recliner.

Police said Trabazzo choked her and fought with her on the floor, ripping off her T-shirt and bra. During the struggle, Trabazzo said he was going to kill her, she told police.

Trabazzo's girlfriend was able to escape and was walking to a bus stop in the area when he struck her with his car, the report said.

Police said Trabazzo was out of jail on bond in connection with a March domestic violence arrest involving his girlfriend. Police said Trabazzo violated a court order forbidding him from having contact with the girl.

Trabazzo's girlfriend was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital to be treated for her injuries. She told police that she "has become accustom (sic) to his abuse and just wants it all to stop," the report said.
