Knife-wielding man robs Chase Bank branch in Aventura, FBI says

Surveillance images show man hopping over counter

AVENTURA, Fla. – A man who was armed with a knife robbed a Chase Bank branch over the weekend in Aventura, FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said Monday in a news release.

The robbery was reported shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday at the Chase Bank at 18235 Biscayne Blvd.

Surveillance images show the man hop over a counter and point a knife at employees.

Marshall said the man demanded money from an employee before leaving the bank.

No injuries were reported.
