Man accused of fatally striking another man with car after argument

Kevin Hubbard, 22, wanted on second-degree murder charge

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A Fort Lauderdale man is accused of fatally striking another man with a car Friday after they got into an argument.

The incident was reported about 1 a.m. outside a home at 1125 NW Second St. in Fort Lauderdale.

Police said Kevin Hubbard, 22, got into an argument with another man outside the home.

Witnesses told officers that Hubbard then got into a car and used the vehicle to hit the victim.

Witnesses said he then ran away.

The victim, identified as Leotis Roberson, 34, of Fort Lauderdale, was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died.

Police have obtained warrants for Hubbard's arrest on charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Anyone with information about Hubbard's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
