Anthony Harris, 29, and Jeffrey Whigham, 45, were shot late Saturday night at a home in the 1600 block of Northeast Fourth Court.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Harris was shot twice in the head, while Whigham was shot in the arm in the driveway of the home.

Harris died at the scene. Whigham was taken to Bethesda Hospital East to be treated for his gunshot wound.

Detectives said three independent tipsters claimed that Moss was responsible for the shooting. One of the tipsters told police that Harris and Moss had gotten into an argument earlier in the day, so Moss later returned and killed Harris.

Police said Moss agreed to meet with detectives Monday and initially denied any involvement in the shooting, but he later confessed. According to the report, Moss told police that he hid the gun in a brick at his grandmother's house. Detectives said they found the gun wrapped in a shirt in a cinderblock at the home.

Moss was booked into the main Palm Beach County jail early Tuesday morning.
