MIRAMAR, Fla. – A man asked a convenience store clerk for a pack of cigarettes Tuesday before robbing her at gunpoint, authorities said.
The robbery was reported at 12:45 a.m. at the Mobil gas station at 7990 Riviera Blvd.

Police said the man told the woman that he had a gun and demanded money from the register.
Police said he calmly walked out of the store after taking the cash and fled on foot.
