MIAMI – A 40-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night after he pulled over to tend to car issues, Miami police said.
The victim pulled over at about 7:22 p.m. near Northwest 10th Avenue and Northwest Fourth Street after experiencing car trouble.

While outside of his vehicle, the victim was approached by an unknown man who demanded his property, police sad.
The victim refused to give up his belongings, police said, and a struggle ensued, resulting in the victim being shot several times.
The man was taken in critical condition to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where he later died.
The shooter fled on foot west on Fourth Street.
