Man wearing 'I survived Lily's Bat Mintzvah' hoodie robs Metro PCS store

Robbery reported Dec. 24 in Tamarac

TAMARAC, Fla. ā€“ Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for two men who held up a Metro PCS store last month at gunpoint.

The robbery was reported Dec. 24 at the Metro PCS at 3178 W. Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac.

Surveillance video shows one of the robbers wearing a black hoodie that read, "I survived Lily's Bat Mintzvah" on the back.

Deputies said one robber pointed a gun to the head of a 19-year-old cashier and forced her into a back room.

The second robber grabbed another employee and then noticed an 18-year-old employee who was returning to the store from his break.

Deputies said the robber ran onto the sales floor, grabbed the teen and forced him into the back room.

Authorities said several items were stolen during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbers' identities is asked to call Detective David Agusti at 954-321-4332. Anonymous tips can be made by calling Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
