Boca Raton police said Gillis was one of five men captured on surveillance video leaving the University Park apartments after the shooting.

Two other suspects -- Donovan Malik Henry and Rodrick Woods -- were previously arrested in connection with the shooting.

According to the arrest report, Gillis was a passenger in a car that surveillance photographs showed was traveling in tandem with another car from Florida's Turnpike in Miami Gardens to Glades Road in Boca Raton on the night of the shooting.

Police said Gillis was positively identified by a relative who has raised him since his mother died.

Acosta's girlfriend told police that the gunmen stole marijuana that he "would sometimes sell" inside his apartment.

Gillis faces charges of armed robbery and first-degree murder. He was being held without bond in a Palm Beach County jail.
