Broward sheriff's deputies said the man grabbed multiple pints of ice cream and a pre-made sandwich, along with several individual Tide detergent pods, and stuffed the items in his jacket.

The man then nervously approached the customer service counter to buy a lottery ticket, deputies said.

Store employees noticed the large bulge in his jacket and said the man appeared uneasy.

Deputies said the thief dropped all the items on the floor, picked up a few of the detergent pods and ran out of the store.

Anyone with information about the thief's identity is asked to call Detective Karl Toro at 954-659-3531 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
