MIAMI – It has been 94 days since Jada Page was killed and her family has yet to get justice.
Miami-Dade police raised the reward for information leading to the arrest of the killer of the 8-year-old girl to $35,000.
The fourth-grade Sea Castle Elementary School student was sitting on the steps of her grandmother's house in northwest Miami-Dade County when she was shot.
"I need justice for my baby," Jada's mother, Dominique Brown, wrote on Facebook after a Thursday night news conference on the corner of 95th Street and 17th Avenue.
Jada was waiting for her father, James Page, to walk out when she was shot in the back of the head.
James Page, 32, was shot in the chest. He survived, but Jada later died in a hospital.
Jada's family and police were asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
