Antione Webster, 18, should be considered armed, dangerous, police say

Antione Webster, 18, is wanted in connected with a fatal shooting in northwest Miami-Dade.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. ā€“ Miami-Dade police identified a suspect Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting as Antione Webster, 18, who also goes by the nickname "Ton."

The shooting was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the area of Northwest 77th Terrace and 13th Court.

The victim, Jerald Griffin, 23, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Webster is wanted on a second-degree murder charge. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

A motive for the shooting has not been released.
