According to a police report, Sinclair's breath smelled of alcohol, her speech was slurred and she was unable to carry a conversation. Police said Sinclair didn't make sense when she spoke and would lose her place in the conversation.

When an officer asked her if she had anything to drink, Sinclair answered, "Yes, one beer," police said.

As officers attempted a field-sobriety test, Sinclair wasn't able to follow their directions, even though she said she understood what to do after having them explain it to her several times, police said.

It took her five tries to complete the exercise, police said.

A breath test later revealed that she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.239 percent, police said. Florida's legal limit is 0.08 percent.

Sinclair was booked into the main Broward County jail. She faces charges of DUI and child neglect without great bodily harm.
