Surveillance cameras capture man stealing bike from Sunrise garage

Burglary reported May 18

SUNRISE, Fla. – Surveillance video captured a man stealing a bicycle last month from a home in Sunrise.

Police said the burglary was reported May 18 at a home in the 2000 block of Northwest 86th Avenue.

According to detectives, the man entered the open garage and stole a black 2013 Trek 3700A with red handlebars and red pedals.

The bike was also equipped with an upgraded chrome-colored Shimano crankshaft and a red MUCH computer system.

The white male suspect seen below stole a bicycle from an open garage. The burglary occurred at 2040 NW 86th AV on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 at 1636 hours. The bicycle was a 2013 Trek 3700A, black with a red handle bar and pedals. The bike was also equipped with an upgraded chrome colored Shimano crankshaft and red Much computer system (no GPS).
