MIAMI – A South Florida woman said her purse was stolen outside her mother's home in Miami, and now, police need the public's help in identifying the thief.
The victim said she was robbed Monday afternoon while she was picking up her grandson.
She said she was putting him into her car that was parked in the driveway when a man swung the door open, grabbed her purse and took off back down the street.
The crook got away with her cellphone, all of her credit cards and more.
Surveillance cameras caught a clean shot of his face.
The video shows a blue or silver sedan pull up in front of the home and back up slightly before the crook, who was wearing a dark hooded jacket, crept up to the car's passenger side.
He took a quick peek inside the car before quickly opening the door and grabbing the purse. He then made a beeline for the waiting getaway vehicle.
