MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are searching for a woman who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy last week.
The robbery was reported shortly before 1:30 p.m. June 13 at the Walgreens at 8665 Bird Road.

Detectives said a woman, who was wearing a blue hoodie and sunglasses, picked up several items and then went to the cash register as if to pay for the items.
As the cashier opened the register to complete the transaction, the woman placed her hand inside her jacket, implying that she had a weapon and demanded all of the money from the register, police said.
The woman, who is believed to be 30 to 35 years old, left the store with a little over $1,000.
