Woman shows cleavage, offers cash during traffic stop, police say

Routine traffic stop turns into bribery case

MIAMI – A police officer said a woman pulled down her dress to show more of her cleavage and tried to give him cash during a recent traffic stop. She said he is lying.

Margaret Garcia, who works as an entertainer, was speeding when a police officer recently stopped her at Northwest 79th Street and 27th Avenue, according to the Miami-Dade police report.

Garcia, 26, of Miami Beach, pulled the "top of her dress down exposing her bra," the police officer said.

There was a clear plastic bag on the center console cup holder with about five grams of marijuana, police said.

When he asked her for her driver's license and registration, the police officer said she tried to hand him money. She continued to show him cash and continued to ask how much she owed him, the officer said.

He  arrested her and cited her for speeding. Garcia was facing charges of bribery and marijuana possession.

Radio show host Andy Slater of 940-AM WINZ shared the police body camera video of the traffic stop on Friday.
