The woman told deputies that her neighbor woke her up to tell her that there were items scattered around her car, and it looked like her car had been burglarized.

Among the items on the ground were a black and white sandal, a red Croc shoe, tools, perfume, red lipstick, tampons and loose change.

Deputies said the victim told them that the red shoe did not belong to her.

Deputies said Jennifer Almeida-Ortiz walked by as they were investigating, and they saw that she was wearing a black and white sandal and a red Croc. They said she had red lipstick smeared on her hands and face and a small clear purse around her neck that contained tampons, a key ring with the victim's first name on it and red lipstick.

The victims identified all the items inside the purse as hers.

Deputies said Almeida-Ortiz appeared to be disoriented and was having difficulty standing.

She was arrested on charges of burglary and theft.
