DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – A Deerfield Beach man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 95 late Sunday night.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 north of Congress Avenue shortly after 11:30 p.m.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a Honda Accord driven by Tara Seip, 22, of Margate, was stopped because of traffic ahead when a Kawasaki motorcycle driven by John Ward, 20, of Deerfield Beach, slammed into the back of the car.
Ward was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Seip wasn't injured.
According to the FHP report, the left three lanes were closed because of road work.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
