PLANTATION, Fla. – A Boca Raton man acted as a pimp to two women and a 15-year-old girl at a Plantation hotel, where he waited outside for them to finish having sex before collecting payment, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office report.
Derek Minott, 21, was arrested Tuesday on charges of living off the earnings of prostitution and renting rooms for prostitution.

According to the report, a BSO detective conducting an investigation into child sex trafficking went to the hotel at 1711 N. University Drive. Minott was seen leaving a room where the teen girl was found inside.

Hotel management said Minott had rented two other rooms.
When the detective spoke to the two women in one of those rooms, they said Minott was unemployed and "collected the proceeds from their prostitution dates," the report said.
One of the women also said Minott collected money from the 15-year-old girl, the report said.
The women said Minott would sit in his car outside the hotel while they had sex and then return once the client left, the report said.
Although one woman said Minott took 100 percent of the proceeds, the other woman said it was a 60-40 split, with Minott taking the lesser amount, the report said.
They said Minott used his phone to take pictures of them and post them on Backpage.com, the report said.
