KENDALL, Fla. -

Detectives say they have arrested the man accused of robbing a gas station and liquor store in Kendall in consecutive days.

Miami-Dade police said Brandon Ricalo robbed a gas station at 14699 Southwest 56th Street on Aug. 8. Ricalo jumped on the counter and took the cash tray from the clerk, police said.

The next day, Ricalo robbed a liquor store at 16281 Southwest 88th Street. According to police, Ricalo told the clerk "Give me the money or I'll shoot you in the head" while pointing a gun at him. He left with $159.

On Friday, MDPD Robbery detectives said they arrested Ricalo. According to detectives, Ricalo was identified and apprehended after they received Crime Stoppers tips, as a result of his image airing on local television.

Ricalo was charged with armed robbery with a firearm and strong-arm robbery.
