Popular malls, restaurants hit the Dirty Dining list

Spots in Dadeland, other malls ordered shut

MIAMI – On a personal note, I stopped eating Chinese food after doing Dirty Dining stories. However, when I need that Lo Mein "fix," Pei Wei has always been my go-to spot.

Pei Wei always seemed to be cleaner than the others and you can see into the kitchen.

Well, to my surprise, there is a Pei Wei on this week's Dirty Dining list.

A state health inspector found a roach issue at one South Florida location that was based upon a complaint. Disappointing.

Cajun Grill and Haagen-Dazs in the Dadeland Mall, as well as the Macy's Taste Bar in The Falls were all ordered shut by inspectors last week.

Below is a list of places and some of their violations.

All the places mentioned were allowed to re-open following an ordered clean up and re-inspection.
