The Miami Dolphins are about to get some prime-time exposure and we're not talking about an appearance on Monday Night Football.
Head Coach Joe Philbin announced today that it has been selected to appear on this year's edition of HBO's Hard Knocks series.
The award-winning program follows one team each summer throughout training camp; taking cameras behind closed doors into meetings, training sessions and coaches conferences.
Appearing on the program can raise the profile of a franchise and after a rough off-season, the Dolphins can use some good publicitiy.
HBO and the NFL have had issues finding a team to participate in this year's program, with the Jets, Broncos and Falcons among a number of teams who had declined the offer.
The season premiere of the show is August 7.
